Chunky Pork and Beef Sausage Chili
Come home to this delicious pork and beef sausage chili dinner that's made in slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 1pound lean boneless pork, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
- 1/2pound fully cooked smoked beef sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1large onion, chopped (1 cup)
- 2medium stalks celery, sliced (1 cup)
- 2cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1can (15 ounces) chunky tomato sauce
- 1can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 1cup water
- 1 1/2teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2teaspoon salt
- 1/4teaspoon pepper
Steps
- 1Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 6-quart slow cooker.
- 2Cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 10 hours (or high heat setting 3 to 5 hours) or until pork is tender.
